Topographical surveys are carried out on small sites using Leica Robotic Total Station Equipment and on larger open areas using Leica GPS Equipment. They are carried out to either our own high specification or as specified by our clients. IE; as much or as little detail as is required.

The finished surveys are presented as either a hard copy or in electronic Autocad .Dwg or .Dxf format

Civils Surveys - Captures 3D Data to be used to produce Dtm digital terrain model allowing sections to show surveyed levels to be compared to design levels , and proposed road levels enabling the design of tunnels, regrading of embankments. Also 3D visuals create a better idea of how the final structure will look.

Flood risk assessment survey - tied into national grid Os GB 36 coordinates with the use of Leica Rtk smart nett real time Gps corrections. The survey was for a design engineer to carry out a full flood risk assemment report on a possible land development. Due to the lands close proximity to a rail line it was also necessary to carry out noise pollution report.

Engineering road and driveway sections - giving terrain and level information for 10m either side of the proposed position of new roadway/ driveway. This enables the final position to be optimised, reducing the amount of cut and fill and excavation required.

Engineering survey - to produce 3D Dtm to enable sections to be drawn through route of proposed driveway. This enables the design engineer to optimise the route and design levels of a new driveway or road.

Gps survey - survey of large contaminated spoil heaps to enable us to calculate and produce volumetric survey results and quantify accurately the amount of contaminated spoil to be removed. This is important due the costs involved in clearing contaminated or brown field development sites.

Elevations - Wire frame basic elevations with record photos are particularly useful for records of how things were or still are showing ground levels, ridge and eave heights.
